Summer's Story...
Summer is approx 2 yrs old. She was picked up as a stray by animal control running with her sister Autumn. She needs secure fencing. She will get bored if left in a backyard and will find a way to explore the rest of the world, even if it means digging out. She is housebroken. She gets along with small dogs (I have a Dachsund), big dogs, cats and doesn't pay much attention to the ferrets. Summer is a couch potato and would love to spend evenings laying with her head in your lap and getting her belly scratch. She collapses to floor like jello when her belly is scratched.. it is quite amusing. She is up to date on shots, spayed and heartworm negative. These 2 sisters are very bonded, therefore we would like them to be adopted as a pair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Summer, a Kyle Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Kyle, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Kyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
