This sweet boy is around 18 months old and weighs 49 lbs. Rufus loves everyone he meets and loves playing with every dog he meets. Such a friendly, well behaved, and cuddly boy that is going to make the best family companion. Rufus is a perfect gentleman on lead and such a wonderful car rider. He will do fantastic in any home and you will fall in love with the cuddle bug soon as you meet him. Such an amazing and sweet boy!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at Cheshire Cat and Dog Too in Cheshire on Friday, October 25th from 2pm-6pm. On Saturday October 26th, CPR will be at Pet Valu in Trumbull from 10am - 2pm. Lastly on Sunday October 27th CPR will be hosting an Open House at our adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury from 10am-1pm. Dogs availability to attend events can change at any given time, so please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $450 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
