Valentino's Story...
I'm Valentino, pineapple and cream and just as sweet as I sound. I love to speed around and I know some great games! Like my sisters, I love to play hide-and-peek-out or get-in-the-way so that you HAVE to pet me! But I actually sleep sometimes, too. And I'm so very cuddly! I was born about Valentine's Day (I'm not too good with calendars), so I got my name the easy way. I'm even cuter than my pictures could ever show -- can't help it. Being handsome runs in my family. If you adopt me, I'll sniff your face every day and I'll give you love nibbles and I MIGHT give you an ear bath now and then. And I'm a really good listener but I never take notes, so all your secrets are safe with me! Come and see me so that I can impress you with my perfection!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Valentino, a Terre Haute American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Terre Haute, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Terre Haute.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Terre Haute already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Terre Haute breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Terre Haute paves the way for another one to be saved.
