Mr. Mistoffelees's Story...
Mr. Mistofelees is one of 13 kittens that were flown to Victoria from a remote community up island where they were found to have been abandoned; all of them suffering with eye infections and respiratory infections. Mr. Mistofelees has been treated for his maladies and has been given a clean bill of health by our vets, so he is now ready for adoption.

Mr. Mistofelees is an extremely affectionate cat who is always purring and loves to cuddle. He is also very playful and just loves to play with his toy mice. He is one of the favourites among our volunteers and will likely be adopted quickly.

Mr. Mistofelees will likely fit well into almost any home. If you would like to learn more about him please come to our adoption centre for a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Mistoffelees, a Saanichton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
