My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack - male, neutered, vaccinated to date, heartworm tested (-), dewormed, tx flea preventative, ~1yrs, ~30lbs, Dalmatian/Corgi mix.

Good with cats, dogs and respectful children of any age. This unusual mix sadly was intentionally bred and when Jack got to be an “old puppy” he was dumped at the pound because no one was interested in buying him. He is not very big and is done growing, he will likely fill out a little and gain some weight but he is not going to get much taller – he is full grown at a little over knee height and about 35lbs. Being a mix Jack doesn’t seem to have inherited the typical issues Dalmatians can come with – his hearing is fine and he does not have diet or skin problems. He is a total cuddle puppy; he loves hugs and would love to be a lap dog if you let him. Jack could use a little confidence building but currently takes the transit trains and busses to work with his foster mom. Jack would be suitable for just about any household. Jack is best suited to a house with a fully fenced yard but is being fostered in an apartment and seems to be doing just fine with regular daily walks. Need info on the Dalmatian or Corgi breed?
