Dallas's Story...
Dallas a 4-month-old Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel/Australian Shepherd and Pomeranian mix (wow!), was the biggest dog in the litter but even today he’s not aware of his size. Still in “puppy mode,” Dallas runs wildly – even in very hot weather – and joyfully jumps on people to greet them. Most days he stays in the office with his foster parent, with frequent breaks to run with abandon on the property. At home in his front steps, Dallas is an avid people watcher. Instead of barking, Dallas greets people by jumping up on the fence and leaning on his front paws, waiting excitedly to be petted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dallas, a Los Angeles Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
