I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Pico's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Pico's Story...
Pico loves people but his first true love is being a proper Shepherd, which means plenty of sniffing, investigating, and exploring. He's a doer rather than a lump. He is very affectionate (don't let his Shepherd drive fool you) and will sidle up for snuggles. We think he'd do fine in a home with kids over 5 since he's pretty energetic for his age. No cats for this boy but he's fine with other dogs, though. He will make a fabulous addition to that special someone's family.

Act quickly to adopt Pico. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pico, a Berkeley German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
