Phoebe's Story...
Meet Phoebe - a happy, playful young dog who is searching for her forever home. Phoebe still acts very much like a puppy, so she'll need someone who can help her grow up into a well-socialized adult; she'd love to accompany you to some puppy training classes! She's very energetic and playful, and smart as well - she has already learned the command for sit, and is eager to learn more. She is housetrained and also walks very nicely on a leash. Her adorable face and goofy play style will surely put a smile on your face - will you put a smile on hers by giving her a home? See Phoebe in her video here: http://focas-sandiego.org/adopt/phoebe.htm

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a San Diego Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
