Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Milo is Adopted
Milo is currently fostered in Mentor Ohio and his adoption fee/donation is $300
Hi there!!! My name is Milo, I am a 5 yr old Maltese.
I had a hard life before, you see, I lived in a puppymill.
I was there all my life until one day I was suddenly taken out of that horrid place!!
It was kinda scary at first, I didn’t know where I was going.
I had never left the mill, all I ever knew was a cage and living in a dark place.
Well, let me tell you, I soon found out that I was rescued, yes RESCUED!!
I went to a place called a Vet, and got all cleaned up and neutered.
I got some shots they call vaccines, they kinda hurt, but I’m told they are to keep me from getting really bad diseases so I guess that’s ok.
I really feel better now!!
I’m in a real house, I get to sleep in a real bed, and I play with the other dogs here, I really like other dogs, they give me comfort.
I’m starting to get used to the humans in my foster home too, they are big and scary to me, I’m just a little guy!!
At first I ran away from humans, they really scared me, but now I’m letting them pick me up and pet me, hold me, and give me lovins, I think I can get used to this!!!
It’s going to take more time for me to come around and get past all of my fears of humans, but I think I got this!!!!
I am also learning about pottying outside in my foster home.
I go out into the fenced yard and learn how to pee and poop out there from my fur friends here.
Im not too great at it yet, but I’ll get there!!!
Oh, I have to be in a fenced yard, I get spooked easily from loud noises or things happening outside and I might try to run away.
The fence keeps me safe.
I’m told that I will be available for adoption soon, I’m pretty excited about that, I’m going to get a real family of my own!!!
I’m a good little dog, I still have obstacles to overcome, but if you will give me the time I need to show me how to be a dog, I know I can learn all these new things.
I want at least one other dog in my new home, I can’t be an only dog because then I won’t feel comfortable all by myself with only humans.
So, after hearing all about me and my needs, do I sound like a dog for you???
Oh, I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.
