Tompall's Story...
Tompall is so incredibly laid-back, friendly, clean, and sweet that it seems almost impossible that he was found abandoned on the streets! Tompall loves to be petted, and he virtually melts in your arms when you hold him. The wonderful folks at Multnomah County Animal Shelter took him in, named him, and gave him veterinary care and lots of TLC before transferring Tompall to Ragdoll Rescue NW. We will never know this gentle boy's lineage, but due to his large size, bicolor markings, and relaxed attitude, we are calling him a Ragdoll “wannabe.” Tompall is healthy, well-mannered, and good with children and dogs. However, he needs to be the only cat in the household. Can you give this sweet boy the forever home that he deserves? Declawing is prohibited by our adoption contract. We do not ship cats/local adoptions only. Tompall is being fostered in Portland, OR. If you are interested in adoption, please fill out our preliminary screening application here:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tompall, a Keizer Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Keizer, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Keizer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Keizer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Keizer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Keizer paves the way for another one to be saved.
