My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

07-12-09 Gwinny is a beautiful white, black, tan medium haired fur-girl. She weighs 12.3 lbs., is said to be 7 yrs., maybe older. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, on preventatives. She lost most of her teeth during a dental. After a lifetime of producing puppies for profit she finally has the chance to be someone's special baby. Are you the home our Gwinny has been looking for. The place where she will be loved and cherished for the wonderfu! little being that she is.

Gwinny was retired from a life of raising fur-babies for profit. Her social skills need work yet she has already made much progress since leaving the kennel.

The updates on his/her likes & dislikes will help you know if this fur-kid is suitable for your home.

We will be evaluating, loving, letting go to make room for another fur-kid at risk.

07-12 Gwinny rode quietly in a pet taxi for her ride to rescue. She gets along with the other fur-kids including the feline variety.
Once she explored her new surroundings she curled up near the computer desk, dozed off waiting for an e-mail.

We do NOT recommend Gwinny for a home with small, active children. Older children that have been taught kindness to pets may do well with her given time & patience.

07-13 Gwinny slept very quietly all night long, loose in the kitchen, soft pillows on a Kuranda bed.
She is still a bit fearful, typical behavior for fur-kids from a kennel environment. She must learn to trust humans. She spent her morning curled up near the computer, inquisitive. She will take a treat from a hand, make eye contact.

07-15 Gwinny is now coming to be picked up. It will take time for her to adjust to a new home yet it should happen rather soon with time, patience.

The adoption fee ranges from $175 to $325.
The fee is based upon veterinary care, age & size of dog.
The higher adoption fee on the younger small dogs helps care for the older dogs that take longer to find fur-ever homes.
Senior citizens and disabled receive a discount.
We also offer a discount to those in uniform keeping us safe.
Land of the free because of the brave.

Our adoption process begins with the e-mail or phone call to us. Please be prepared to furnish your complete name, address, telephone number, your veterinarian contact information & at least two personal references. We will then call you to ask a series of questions.

Gwinny is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
