My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy is a fawn-colored, spayed female Terrier/Doxie mix. She was born approximately 4/7/09 and we're estimating that she will weigh 25-30 lbs when fully grown. She really needs to be with a canine companion that she can play with, since she has lots of energy and loves to run. She would do well with older, gentle children, 8 years of age and older who have lived with dogs.

All ARRF adoptees will have up-to-date shots, be microchipped, and will have been spay/neutered when they become adoptable. Generally speaking, puppies should be good with gentle children, dogs, and cats. Of course, all puppies will need to be housetrained.

Puppies obviously need a bit of attention, so prospective adopters should have someone either at home during the day or able to make frequent visits during the day. Adopters must agree to go to positive reinforcement classes to make sure that these youngsters can "be all that they can be." In addition to the adoption fee, ARRF will collect a $50 deposit that is refundable upon proof of class attendance within 6 months of adoption.
