TEMP FOSTER HOME NEEDED UNTIL BABY IS BORN! Here's the dilemma: a pregnant lady's doctor told her to "get rid of her cat of she wants to carry her baby to term" because she's a high risk pregnancy. She's due in late March. The cat was a birthday present for her 4 year old son, who is so emotionally attached to his best buddy. They need to find a foster home ASAP until March. After the baby is born, they want their kitty back. He's very loved and wanted!!!
> About Sly... he's 6 months old, Tuxedo with short hair. He's got the mildest temperment I've ever seen. I watched the boy carry the cat around and the cat just hangs there purring in his arms. He tucks him in bed with him. The two are inseparable! Sly is the boy's best friend and he's very upset that his furry friend has to "go on vacation for awhile". They're together every minute. He's so worried he won't see his special friend again.
> Sly isn't shy, he's VERY friendly. He's a great kid's cat, he tolerates anything. He would get along with other cats, dogs and especially loves kids. He's litterbox trained, and uses his scratcher. All his stuff will go with him to his temp home. He's up to date on his shots and is scheduled to be neutered next Thursday. Sly likes being bathed. He knows his name and comes when called. He has good house manners and stays off countertops. He's super gentle with kids and very loving. He's very playful, I played with Sly yesterday, this little guy is an absolute joy!
> Let's help Sly find a foster home! I'll provide transportation to and from his temp home. The family will provide Sly's food and necessities. If no foster home is found, the lady's husband will be forced to take Sly to the shelter and we DON'T want that to happen. I understand their need to put their unborn baby first, her pregnancy is so delicate. If forced to give up Sly forever, the family will never find another with his super gentle personality.
