Ginger is unique. She came out of the recent Mojave hoarding travesty - with her best friend, Freda. Ginger's obviously had multi-multi-litters . . . When Ginger first arrived several days ago, she was skittish, unwilling to meet anyone's eyes. Today, she was following me, trusting in my ability to protect her from unknown dangers. Certain dogs with their absolute desire to have someone to trust win my heart - Ginger is one of them. Ginger apparently had a good puppyhood - she's well house-trained . . .

About Our Rescue Group...
Friends For Pets Foundation is a non profit, no-kill dog rescue located in Sun Valley,California (adjoining Los Angeles). The shelter has been in operation for over 20 years and is dedicated to the rescue and placement of Weimaraners,Dalmatians,Pointers,Labs, and other sporting breeds, as well as a variety of mixed breeds.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Every sunday morning, you can come to the shelter and help walk the dogs.
From 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.. If its raining no walks. See the volunteers at the gate.
Our Adoption Process...
Friends For Pets Foundation requires an application, a home visit, and adoption fee which includes the cost of spaying/neutering and vaccinations.
