SUNNY's Story...
Meet Sunny- This poor girl was pulled from a high kill shelter, very pregnant with puppies. She was going to be gassed if she went into labor because this pound does not let mama dogs have their pups, would rather euthanize. She was rescued on a Monday and had her pups on Tuesday, almost like she was waiting to give them a chance. Unfortunately, 3 of her pups passed away from a virus so this poor girl has had it rough. Her remaining pup has been adopted and Sunny has been completely vetted and ready for a home of her own. Her foster mom says she is very sweet and get along well with her small dogs. She does ok with the cats but will chase if given the opportunity. She also loves people. This poor girl deserves people of her own to love so please wont you consider Sunny? If interested in Sunny please email us. Her adoption fee is $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SUNNY, a Slippery Rock Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Slippery Rock, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog from a breeder in Slippery Rock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Slippery Rock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Slippery Rock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Slippery Rock paves the way for another one to be saved.
