Buddy-FCR's Story...
Buddy is about a year and a half old, weighs 45 pounds and is a very friendly, gentle puppy that gets along with everything! He is some kind of Retriever. Buddy has been in a home since he was 8 weeks old... then his owner decided to move, but not to take his dog. Buddy is a sweet, well behaved, great mannered dog, so it was no fault of his. Poor guy is a little bewildered and would love to settle into a new home quickly. He loves the water and will love playing at the dog beach and will make a fabulous jogging partner. If you are interested, please email us at pal@palrescue.org and put the dog's name in the subject line.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy-FCR, a El Segundo Flat-Coated Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in El Segundo, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in El Segundo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Segundo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Segundo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Segundo paves the way for another one to be saved.
