My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION PENDING

NOTE FROM ZOEY'S FOSTER HOME: "Zoey is as cute as they come! She's petite and oh so very sweet! She is a total LAP CAT, very friendly, loving and adorable. She will bring lots of smiles to her adoptive family...we are certian of that!"

Hi- I'm little ZOEY! I'm a gray and white short hair kitten who is approx. 10 weeks old as of late July ('09). I am spayed, up to date on shots, tested negative for both FIV and Feline Leukemia and I have been treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms. I am also housetrained/litterbox trained. I am VERY friendly and very much a LAP cat. I am searching for a home that can provide me with a lot of love and affection as that is what I crave!

My life started out pretty tough as a stray trying to survive in a busy apartment complex area where nobody wanted me around. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have been rescued. When I was rescued I had a severe ear infection which was treated and I have since been cleared of. But because of having that ear infection while I was so young and on my own without any medical care as a stray- it left me walking with my head slightly tilted to the side. I have no pain and I am not shy about my slight head tilt at all. In fact I think it sets me apart from the others-- it give me character! The veterinarian has assured my foster mom that I have no further ear issues and I am healthy as can be. So this is why I'm listed as special needs (I consider it just "special"!) It's not that I need anything special- I just have a slight tilt to my head because of my tough beginning in life...that's all.

Anyway, enough about little me! I can't wait to meet YOU! I am patiently waiting to find a loving home to call my very own, fur-ever!
