Precious's Story...
Precious, female, spayed, est. 2 1/2 years old, 55 lbs, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative. Rescued 08/24/2003. She is good with people and appears to be housetrained. She is calm when brought inside and likes to lay in front of the fan. She has been taken to PetsMart and behaved very well. She has not shown any aggression to people, food, other dogs small or large, cats (only seen adoption cats through the cage doors at PetsMart). She does need a secure 6' fence. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Precious, a Blanchard German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Blanchard, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Blanchard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blanchard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blanchard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blanchard paves the way for another one to be saved.
