Andy's Story...
Hi! My name is Andy! I am an 16-week-old short haired, black and white little guy. My foster mom should have named me motor boat because I purr when picked up or petted. I love to be near your face and rub up against you. I would love a permanent home of my own where I can give as well as receive lots of love. I get along well with children, other cats, and tolerate dogs. If you are interested in adopting me please call my foster mom Tracy at 760-744-1975 or email her at tgallagher@cox.net. All SPP cats are spayed/neutered before adoption, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and tested for FELV/FIV & will have 1 month free pet insurance if you choose to sign up. The adoption donation is $125 (tax deductible). Please San Diego County Residents Only (no exceptions) long distance calls(out of San Diego County) will not be returned. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy, a San Diego/North County Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Diego/North County, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in San Diego/North County.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego/North County already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego/North County breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego/North County paves the way for another one to be saved.
