My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Would you believe we rescued this beautiful little girl without even knowing it? I know, weird statement right? It's true though! For you see, not long after we rescued a kitty named Lelah from the euthanasia list and placed her in one of our foster homes, Tasha made a surprise appearance. In the middle of the night, Lelah gave birth to Tasha! What a wonderful surprise that we saved not one but two lives the day we rescued Lelah from the pound!

It has been so fun watching Tasha grow up right before our eyes! Lelah has been an excellent mom to Tasha. Lelah is very attentive to Tasha, teaching her all the things a kitty needs to know. (Tasha is an accomplished litter box user thanks to mom's guidance!) They eat side-by-side each day and will curl up next to one another for snuggle time. Lelah is also very protective of Tasha when it comes to unsuspecting dogs...Lelah streaked right at the resident dog like a bullet when the poor guy happened to wander into the bedroom where Lelah and Tasha had been staying. He didn't know what hit him! After the resident dog was escorted out, Lelah hissed at him under the door and then groomed Tasha all over to make sure she was alright! Tasha hissed at them under the door too for good measure. Despite her wariness of the 2 resident dogs, Tasha is very curious about them and will sit in the bedroom window watching the dogs run around in the yard.

Tasha keeps her foster parents laughing every day with her playful antics! Tasha runs around the bedroom like something or someone is after her...she is so funny! Lelah is very indulgent, allowing Tasha to discover her inner tiger by repeatedly pouncing on her! When she's not busy pouncing on mom, she likes to run around the room pouncing on other unsuspecting, random objects - especially shoes. Tasha has a bit of a shoe fetish...not only does she like pouncing shoes, but she also enjoys knocking shoes off of the shoe rack. One time her foster parents discovered her sitting in a boot peeking her head out to see what was going on! Tasha also finds bathrooms very interesting. She finds it fascinating to watch toilets being flushed and she loves to lie in the bathroom sink and play with the water. Tasha loves all of her conventional cat toys too, playing with them all the time.

Tasha's a very good eater, not picky at all, but she does let you know when you serve her something that is not to her liking. One time her foster parents fed her a new food. Although they could tell she wasn't enthusiastic about it, they left it out for her to see if she would eat it. Next time they checked, they discovered Tasha had taken the whole roll of toilet paper and covered her food dish with it as if she was hiding her food so she wouldn't have to eat it! Her foster parents never fed her that food again and to date Tasha has never felt the need to bury her food dish in toilet paper!

Tasha not only enjoys being with Lelah but she enjoys interacting with her people too. She likes to lick your feet when you get out of the shower...guess that shouldn't be too surprising considering her fondness of shoes and the bathroom! Tasha doesn't like to be held too much as she always has something to explore. She does however love to curl up next to you at night for snuggle time - she'll climb on top of the bed and make a place for herself on the pillows. It's so cute...sometimes she does a funny little bunny hop when you try to pet her...she just hops away!

Tasha's a beautiful, sweet girl whose antics will make you laugh on a daily basis. She's looking for a fun loving family who will not only give her lots of love but will also enjoy her playful purrsonality and indulge her with lots of playtime and nightly snuggle sessions!
