Dixie's Story...
Posted

Look into this beautiful dog's eyes. They are stunning and she is just as sweet as her warm eyes. This small (40 lbs) and very devoted dog's owner's lost their home and had to surrender her. She was raised with children and loves them. She also does well with cats, we were told however we do not have any here so I can not verify this. Dixie does well with the other dogs in the house and loves to ride in the car. She also walks well on the leash. Dixie would love to find her forever home soon.

If you are interested in Dixie, please fill out an application which can be found at www.secondchancedog.com Dixie will be updated on her shots and will be spayed soon. Her adoption fee is $275.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Fredericksburg Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky for sale in Fredericksburg, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky dog from a breeder in Fredericksburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fredericksburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fredericksburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fredericksburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
