Gunther's Story...
Hi! My name is Gunther. I'm a 4 week old puppy who'll be ready for my new forever home in 4 more weeks. I'd love a new family who is at home and has lots of time to spend training and playing with me! I came into the central county shelter with 5 siblings and no mom. They thought I was a labrador mix but I just hit 2 lbs last week & if I were a lab I'd be bigger by now. I just learned how to lap formula on my own. Everyone is still trying to figure my breed - feel free to join in the guessing game! For more information or to set up a time to meet me, contact my foster mom at abbie1@gmail.com. tummy rubs & puppy tail wags! - Gunther.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunther, a San Diego/North County Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in San Diego/North County, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in San Diego/North County.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego/North County already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego/North County breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego/North County paves the way for another one to be saved.
