Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sassy Girl is about 3 months old. Rescued from a very high rate kill shelter. Sassy Girl loves shopping! Adopt her on Sat., Aug. 8, at the Cool Dawg Adoption Event, starting at 11:30, @ PetCO in Broomfield, 120th & Sheridan. Please go to www.pupsavers.org to download adoption documents to bring to the event.
A Note from Sassy Girl's Foster:
The perfect name for this little one. She is prissy, confident and high energy! Sassy Girl loves to be in the middle of the action! She is also very curious and a quick study. This little pup has no problem getting her nose into the refrigerator and cabinets. She is good with older dogs, small children and cats. Although I think she sees cats as funny looking dogs. She would try to engage our cats in play but was never aggressive toward them. She is very expressive with her face and ears. Loves to spend time with you, with her toys and outside. Her favorite toys seem to be the stuffed animals that squeak.
Sassy Girl does vocalize during play. I don't know much about her bark as we didn't hear it while she was with us. She is starting to get the concept of house breaking. The words we were using are 'potty outside' in a directive tone. She has been responding to that the past three days. Her signs that she needs to go out is going to the door and sudden nose to the floor searching for a place to go. Accidents have been minimal the past three days. Sassy Girl is used to sleeping in a kennel at night with her foster sister. So far she hasn't had an accident in the kennel.
