Dave's Story...
MEET DAVE & BUSTER! This adorable black puppy is Dave. Born 5/1/09, he is a young pup waiting to find his forever home. Dave is very loving & playful. He is a Lab/Shepherd mix, but definitely seems to have inherited mostly Lab genes. If YOUR FUN NEEDS SOME FUN, Dave would be a wonderful new addition to your family. He loves to play and wrestle with his brother, Buster. He also gets along great with his foster mom's other adult dogs. We are working on crate and house training, but his new family will probably have to work with him on finishing the work his foster mom has begun. He is scheduled to be neutered on Friday, Aug 21, and then he will be ready to join his new family!

Are you interested in DAVE? If so, contact his foster mom, Laura, at k9s4me@aaahawk.com This bio was last updated 8/17/2009.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dave, a Overland Park Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
