My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I am Nattie, a purebred yellow lab. RROC estimates that I am between 2-4 years old. They rescued me from a puppy mill where records of my exact date of birth weren't kept. It was a very sad place to be, but now I am in a wonderful foster home with my very own dog bed and toys! I even have canine foster siblings that I love to play tug of war with and chase around the house. I never knew life could be so wonderful!

I have made so much progress since RROC saved me, but do still cower at quick movements. Not to worry though, that will dissipate as I become more comfortable and trusting over time. I am quickly learning all the wonderful things that come with being in a home! I have access to a dog door that I can go in and out of, a soft warm bed that I get to sleep in at night right next to my foster people's bed, brothers and sisters to play with, and ice cubes!! Do you have any idea how exciting it is to be given an ice cube straight from that big box the people keep their food in??

I am learning new things every day and am ready to be in my forever home with you where I will be loved and I can love you back. I am happiest when I am with my people and will sit smack dab in the middle of your lap and cuddle with you if you let me. Nothing wrong with some lab loving right??

If you are looking for a beautiful young lady like me who is desperate to love you please ask about me, Nattie, today!

P.S. I really need a canine brother or sister in my new home!
