My name is Gerpy!

Pug/Pekingese Mix Dog for adoption in San Diego/North County, California - Gerpy

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Gerpy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Gerpy's Story...
Hey!!...Wanna' play?
You can see by my photo that I am ready and raring to go!!

I am a 2 year old male who loves to play. I am good with all dogs, but would really prefer a female soulmate that loves to play as much as I do.

I get a bit stressed out by those little critters called "cats". I'm not mean towards them, but will chase them if they run. Not sure why, but maybe it is because I have yet to figure out exactly what they are. I haven't really been around them much, so it would probably be best if I were adopted by a family that doesn't have cats.

I am crate trained and will go outside, but I am still working on what humans call housetraining. Oh yes, I am also leash trained.

And did I tell you that my Foster Mom says I am an "angel" and "darrrrrrling"?

If you would be interested in finding out more about me, or would like to meet me, please call my Foster Mom, Mary Kay at (619) 933-4990 or email her at Mary.Gagliardo@sdcounty.ca.gov.

All SPP dogs are spayed/neutered before adoption, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed & will have 1 month free pet insurance if you choose to sign up .
The adoption donation is $100 (tax deductible). You must attend training with a SPP approved trainer within 30 days of the adoption. San Diego County Residents Only (no exceptions). Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gerpy, a San Diego/North County Pug/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Pekingese for sale in San Diego/North County, or seeking a Pug/Pekingese dog from a breeder in San Diego/North County.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego/North County already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego/North County breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Pekingese breeders who help with Pug/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego/North County paves the way for another one to be saved.
