Marty's Story...
This poor girl got very lucky. Her companion, unfortunately, was not so lucky. Both were out running on a busy street - actually crossing it - when one of the dogs was struck by a car and killed instantly. Neither had collars on, neither was microchipped and both were ill kept. This little girl was crawling with fleas and missing patches of hair from the continual scratching at the flea bites. Not surprisingly, no one answered the ads for a lost dog, nor did anyone place one or put up signs in the area or report it to any shelter. Marty is now looking for someone to love and paper her like she has never been before. She is an adorable short little dog with a medium length, beautiful red coat. She is under a year, weighs about 25 pounds and gets along well with other dogs and is craving people attention. She will be so grateful to get into a wonderful loving home, maybe yours!? If you are interested, please email Julie at julie_brown@mac.com and put the dog's name in the subject line.
