Mr. Big's Story...

ADOPTION PENDING!

Mr. Big is a true Teacup Mexican Chihuahua! He came from Mexico, according to his background. He weighs 5 lbs, is 1 ½ years old, and is so cute! Mr. Big is crate trained and housetrained. He gets along great with his pack, including foster mom and dad. He is very tiny, so we have a bell on him so we won't step on him! Mr. Big has the typical Chihuahua attitude, so will not be adopted to a family with young children. Mr. Big just came into foster care, so we will update his bio as we learn more about him. We will be doing pre-screening on him and taking applications in advance of the adoption dates. Come and meet our Mr. Big!

As HAHS has several adoption locations, please contact Candy or Mark at 816/916-3685 or lelandsable@comcast.net to find out when and where you can meet MR BIG!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Big, a Overland Park Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
