Cecily's Story...
Looking for a LAP CAT? Then Cecily is the cat for YOU!
Cecily is a sweet, little orange DMH female, whose owners moved away and left her behind. She was not spayed and has already had a couple of litters, and was in heat when we found her. She was a little nervous when she was first rescued as she had been locked out of her home for about a month and couldn’t understand where her family went. She’s come out of her shell now and is anxious to find a new “forever” family that will never abandon her. She’s been spayed, tested for Felv/FIV (negative), and given her vaccinations and flea control and is just waiting for the right person(s) lap to sit on for as long as you want her to!
If you are interested in adopting from Cat Posse, please visit our website, www.catposse.org and fill out the application on her page. You can also contact Sharon at sebastian_sophie@yahoo.com to have an application either e-mailed or faxed to you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cecily, a Pasadena Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Pasadena, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Pasadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pasadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pasadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pasadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
