Pixie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Pixie's Story...
These 7 Lab Mixes were very fortunate the day we met them at Animal Services. PSBR reps were there looking at dogs to add to our pull list. As we were looking at another dog, an employee informed us that a mom and pups in another kennel were to be 'put down' after lunch. We had to go see them.
What we saw was a young mom Pit Bull/Lab Mix and Seven 5wk old babies.
Some were romping around their pen and some were nursing from mom. We knew we had to take them. They may not be Bullies, but their lives are just as important.
These kids are now 8 wks old and are ready for adoption. They are your typical playful healthy pups and could really use a better ending than what they were about to have.

Please consider adding one of them to your heart and home!
(*Mom (Nora) will be available for adoption after she recovers from Mammory Gland Infection and can be spayed,
please check back for her! Yes, we always take mom too!)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a Tampa Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
