Quincy's Story...
"Quincy" is an adorable gray tabby boy kitten with a beautiful medium length coat. He has adorable tufts of fur that jut out from his ears. He was born approximately at the end of August. He was found as a stray in Davis, but despite his hardships he is sweet and playful. His favorite pastime is chasing his own tail. He is initially scared, but quickly becomes tolerant, of unfamiliar animals (cats and dogs) and would do fine in a household with other pets. He has been dewormed, tested for feline leukemia and has received the first of his FVRCP vaccines. He will be neutered and microchipped shortly. He is being fostered by a veterinarian and is in excellent health. Please e-mail his foster mom, Beth, at for more information or to receive a short adoption questionnaire before meeting this cute little guy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quincy, a Davis Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Davis, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
