Rover-Beagle's Story...
11-18-08 Rover needs your help. He is heart worm positive and we haven't got a setting for him to be treated and rehabilitated. Rover is super affectionate with people and has a wonderfully happy personality. He is the first at the gate to greet the volunteers, loves to walk on leash and be brushed, and enjoys a dip in our baby pool! Rover is very playful with our other dogs, this guy just loves LIFE! . You can save his life. The shelter will pay for his heart worm treatment and give you all the information you need about the condition. Please save lives by adopting from shelters and rescues and by spaying and neutering your own pets!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rover-Beagle, a Charleston Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Charleston, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Charleston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charleston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charleston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charleston paves the way for another one to be saved.
