Mocha's Story...
This cat was found pregnant and living under a house. The rescuer took her inside to care for her and her litter. It has been several months and all the kittens have gone to loving homes. The mother has been tested, spayed and vaccinated and is in good health and ready for a permanent loving home. She currently enjoys a life of indoor and outdoor freedom. She is very sweet but can be shy as humans haven't always been kind to her. She has adjusted well and now walks freely though the house purring and meowing.

  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
