Hallie's Story...
Pure white and beautiful, Hallie was originally rescued as a tiny kitten from an overcrowded kill shelter in Philadelphia. Subsequently adopted, Hallie was recently returned due to inappropriate urination issues. Her adopter could not afford to have a medical workup done, so Hallie came back to us. Within days, Stray Cat Blues had the necessary tests and physical exam done. The results came back negative. We’re puzzled as to why Hallie was not using her litterbox. She’s been confined to a cage for the past several weeks, and we are hoping to have her adopted again soon. Many times cats are simply unhappy in their homes and express their feelings by avoiding their litterboxes. We’ve had a lot of success in having this type of cat re-adopted and will provide tips to make the adoption work.

Hallie is a pleasant cat, but she has trouble accepting change. Once she is comfortable in her environment, she is sweet and loving. Canned food rates high on her list of what she likes as well as having your attention. Hallie is updated on her rabies and distemper vaccination and negative for FeLV and FIV. Hallie’s estimated date of birth is 8/25/2008.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hallie, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
