My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bandy says: "I am looking for a single man, woman or couple to devote my life to. I hope you have some cats because I REALLY like them. I don't like a bunch of activity - just a nice, calm environment with a consistent routine. I will be your best friend and protector - I promise! I don't bark much but I can dance! I like my crate so I am very easy to take care of. Don't worry about housebreaking me - I wouldn't dream of making a mess!"

and from his caretakers:
Bandy is a friendly and quiet fellow whose original owner abandoned him thus the name "Bandy". He was found chained to a pipe in a house after his humans skipped town. We want to find Bandy a real home where he won't have to worry about being abandoned ever again. He has learned our schedule very well and knows when his meals are coming and that they are indeed coming! He waits his turn quietly and seems to really appreciate being taken care of.
He will "SIT" upon command for his food bowl but should not be interferred with while eating. Because he can be a bit possesive of his food bowl we suggest that he not go to a family with small children.
He has the most soulful eyes and will even do a "happy dance" in thanks for all the affection and attention that he gets. It's really cute when he jumps around on his back legs. We are just glad that he is so well adjusted and joyful after everything he has been through. Bandy is about 4 years old and weighs 30 lbs. He is terrific on leash and absolutely LOVES our cats! He really doesn't get along very well with other dogs. Bandy is housebroken and crate trained, obedient and independent - a very easy dog to take care of. Bandy is neutered and up to date on his shots. He is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks. He is microchipped.
