My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Louie is a goofy, comical labrador retriever mix with the sweetest disposition. He’s approximately one year old and weighs 60 lbs. His past times include dropping toys/rawhide into the pool and squeezing himself through a dachshund sized doggy door. Louie has a lot of energy. He needs to be walked and/or exercised daily. But he can also settle down and be mellow.. Louie’s a fast learner and he’s very eager to please his humans. Louie was a rock star in obedience training class. He knows commands such as sit/stay, down, leave it, etc. Louie is also house trained and crate trained. Louie has zero aggression toward people or other dogs. He’s submissive to all the dogs in his foster home. In fact, he was bitten in the face by an aggressive dog and he never retaliated. You can readily put your hands in Louie’s food bowl while he’s eating and take food out of his mouth. Louie has been living with large dogs and small dogs in his foster home. He likes to play and wrestle with dogs his own size. He doesn’t mess with the small dogs if they don’t want to play with him. Louie loves kids too! Louie would enjoy a playmate - human or canine, big or small. If you’re looking for a big love bug and a fantastic family dog, Louie’s your man. Adoption includes neuter surgery, shots, flea prevention, dewormer and kennel cough vaccine. A seven day trial period is included as part of the adoption so you can make sure the pet is right for your family. Please call or email for more information. Be sure to include your phone number so a volunteer can reach you. PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET THIS GREAT DOG: Trina cell: 832-495-2959
