My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blossom Dearie was a popular jazz singer in the '50s and 60's and AZBHR's Blossom Dearie is a pretty jazzy singer herself, and only 2 or 3 years old. If urged, she has an impressive range of vocal arooo's. She's fine with my other dogs, and like the good girl she is, the kitties are not chased or bothered.

She was born in a puppymill, and has had puppies, but there will be no more puppies in her future. She has already recovered from a spay surgery, and has all her shots and has been microchipped. She was found to be free of heartworms, and negative for valley fever and tick fever. She has already started her monthly heartworm preventative. Blossom is very thin.........weighs 35 pounds but with good groceries, she'll gain 10-15 pounds. She's very lovely, with a tri-color coat.

Because Blossom lived in a puppy mill , she hasn't been well socialized. She's very shy, and loud noises frighten her. But it has only taken her one week to learn dog door and no indoor piles or puddles, and she now follows us from room to room. Blossom is waiting for just the right home. She'd love to have a younger 4-legged buddy to play with and go for walks with. Her new family will use a gentle hand and a soft voice when training her. Are you that gentle family?
