Here's what the humans have to say about me:
April is about 40 pounds and two years old. She recently came to rescue with a litter of puppies. She is sweet, a little shy, and was used to just rambling around so a lot of things we consider normal were new to her at first (car rides, being in the house) but she is adjusting very well and we are so happy about that. She is affectionate, good with her dog friends, and she is definitely tired of motherhood. She is moderate energy so she likes to go for walks and be outside but is happy to settle down. We are excited she is able to go from tired momma to footloose and fancy free. She is walking well on leash already and treat and praise motivated. She is going to make a welcome addition to her new household.
This dog is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $400 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
