Levi's Story...
Levi's story is like a broken record around here . . . found out in the country, no one recognized him or knew who his owners were. We have advertised him aggresively but no one has come forward. This means that Mr. Levi is now looking for new digs! What an absolute sweetheart . . . he has the most beautiful colorings and his coat is rich and silky. All he wants is to be loved, hugged and adored. Loves to fetch and, as is true to his breed, is very intelligent! Levi is actually a rather small dog - he doesn't go much over 40#. Neutered and up to date on shots. Levi whispered in our ears that all he wants for Christmas is a forever home. We pray Santa is listening!

Act quickly to adopt Levi. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Levi, a Roundup Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Roundup, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Roundup.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roundup already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roundup breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roundup paves the way for another one to be saved.
