Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everyone, I rarely include asking for $ to help with a rescued dog in their bios, but sometimes there are times when a procedure to save a dog can be much more than general rescue funds can provide. On Monday December 12, we took in a puppy that was being given up by the owners because they could not provide medical care for a puppy with what they described as incontinence. The dog was being advertised for free on az family= being a pit pup, I was concerned that she would end up going to the wrong home or worse, trained to fight or all the other awful places free dogs end up= anyways I was able to convince the owners to turn her over to For The Luv Of Dogz. she is just the cutest thing EVER= Our doctor diagnosed her today with bladder infection caused by ectopic urethra. SHe had her surgery on Tues dec 21 as she is recovering well, this pup is only 5 mos old and we could not pass up the procedure- but it did take most of our rescue expenses up. If anyone would like to make a tax deductible donation to help us save other dogs, Petie and Luv of dogz would most appreciate it= again, it has been a few years since I have sent a letter like this so if you can help any amount would be most helpful and appreciated! please go to our website at www.fortheluvofdogz.petfinder.org and click on the paypal icon that says donate. please put petie in the subject line Now that she has had her surgery and spayed she ready to go to her forever home who will help her through recovery and love her forever=SHe is also deaf= She will need to go to a home with a yard and a family that will keep her as mainly and indoor dog and will keep her through life changes- a home check will be required Luv, Petie and Hillary
