Poodle's Story...
Hello, I came to the shelter as a stray on 8-18-09 and will go up for adoption on 8-27-09. I am about 10 years of age and about 8 pounds. The shelter thinks that I am somewhat blind - but I can see some things (maybe shadows...). I am a very sweet boy and I still have a lot of spunk in me. Please come and give me a chance! If you are interested in giving me a forever home please contact the Gladwin County Animal Shelter at 989-426-4579. If the office is closed please leave a message and someone will call you back the next business day. Thank you for looking and thinking adoption first!

Act quickly to adopt Poodle. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poodle, a Gladwin Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Gladwin, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Gladwin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gladwin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gladwin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gladwin paves the way for another one to be saved.
