Hi there- I'm KIT-CAT! I'm front declawed, spayed, tested negative for both FIV and Feline Leukemia, treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and I am housetrained/litterbox trained (indoor only kitty). I am very friendly and love to snuggle up next to you! I am approx. 9 years young (in 2010). Did you know Advocates 4 Animals has a rescue cat who is 23 years old? You see, I have many good years still ahead of me! And because I am considered a "SENIOR CAT"- I am FREE with an approved adoption application!
I had a VERY tough start in life. A kind lady found me as a stray and she left food outdoors for me for several years. I was not allowed to come in her home because she already had pets of her own. But I was so thankful to have regular food. When this kind lady passed away, I was left all on my own and I was very scared. I didn't know where I was going to find food and I thought all hope was lost for finding a great home. But THANKFULLY, I was wrong! I was rescued by the good people at ADVOCATES 4 ANIMALS FELINE RESCUE and I love every day of life! I prefer a home with one or no other cats (I like to have all of the attention and snuggle time-- I am VERY affectionate!) and I am okay with calm dogs (hyper dogs scare me though). My best feline friend in my foster home is also up for adoption- his name is TJ and he is also declawed. We get along really well I prefer a home without small children- as I do not like my tail pulled and I do not like to be chased. Because of my tough past as a stray I always had to defend myself hide from mean people- so I will do best and I will thrive in a happy, calm, loving home. I have a beautiful coat of fur and big beautiful eyes that show you I am really listening to you when you talk to me and pet me. I just love affection and attention and I am patiently waiting to find a purr-fect home to call my very own, fur-ever. I'm dreaming of the day I get to meet you!
