Baby Puff's Story...
This wee baby is so sweet and funny and playful, chasing the older kittens in her foster home and 'killing' the fuzzy toys. She came to us after her mother abandoned her when she was about 8 days old, probably because the momcat knew that her sweet blue-eyed little girl was deaf. Baby Puff gets along very well and her disability is only noticeable when she does not hear the can opener and sleeps through dinner, or when she gets a little rough with the smaller kittens in her foster home because she can not hear them crying. She will make a wonderful pet but will have to be in an adult home where she will be an indoor only kitty. The outdoors will never be a safe place for her, since she will not hear danger approaching. Baby Puff will be available for adoption after she has been spayed and vaccinated, probably by the end of September.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Puff, a Duncan Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Duncan, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Duncan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duncan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duncan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duncan paves the way for another one to be saved.
