Tilly's Story...
Tilly is an almost 6 year old (birthdate 9-21-03) female Great Pyrenees who was turned over to rescue because of major life style changes suffered by her previous owner. Tilly has been with her previous owner since she was a 6 month old puppy and was loved very much. Tilly was also well socialized by her owner. She is very mellow and is not a hyper dog at all. Tilly has great house manners! She is currently getting along just fine with her foster family’s other dogs, cats and children. Tilly is very sweet and very cute, as you can see, and would make a great pet for a family with children. Tilly is spayed, up to date on all her shots, and in very good health.

An adoption application, site visit, visible secure fencing, and adoption fee are required to adopt Tilly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tilly, a Minneapolis Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
