JoJo's Story...
JoJo was found as a stray on the street sleeping under a car! (See picture.) She was covered with demodectic mange, the non-contagious kind (see picture of her lying on grass). A compassionate woman took her in and had her mange treated. Her skin is just about fully healed now, as you can see from the latest picture. JoJo is not a very big dog - perhaps 30 lbs - the pictures make her seem larger than she is. She is a very sweet dog, and look at those soft eyes! She is not out of trouble yet, however - she needs a home to call her own. JoJo has come so far. If you might be the last step in JoJo's journey back to life, contact discardedmiracles@gmail.com to set up a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JoJo, a Los Alamitos Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Los Alamitos, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Los Alamitos.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Alamitos already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Alamitos breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Alamitos paves the way for another one to be saved.
