Samson's Story...
Samson is a 6 yr old neutered male Rottie. His male owner passed away and his female owner is 79 yrs old and is moving in with her daughter. He was in a home with a femal pug and a female bloodhound. He was good with the bloodhound, but not the pug. He is a little shy at first, but wags his tail when he gets use to you which does not take long. He is housebroken and knows how to sit, lay down and high five. Samson thinks he is a lap dog also. He is also crated trained. If you are interested in adopting or fostering Samson please contact Cyndi at 570-356-2387.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samson, a Bloomsburg Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
