Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Pattie is a dark brindle colored Pittie mix. She is a female that is about 2 years old and weighs about 45-50 pounds. This poor girl was surrendered to a high kill shelter by her owner because they didn't want her anymore and she was to be euthanized!!! In addition to that, she was dumped there in horrible condition. She was extremely emaciated and still engorged with milk....so we know that she recently had pups. The worst parts was that she was completely shut down and shy, almost like a puppy mill dog. She refused to stand and army-crawled in fear everywhere she went.
She is now putting on some much needed weight and is definitely coming out of her shell. She is such a sweetie and is so affectionate with people....a total love-bug! She loves to just crawl up on your lap and soak up the love! She is still a bit timid and has a very submissive personality, but she is doing better and better with each day as she learns that she does not have to be afraid anymore. She is crate trained and knows how to sit.
Pattie is spayed and fully UTD on all vaccinations prior to adoption. Her adoption donation is $200. For more information on Pattie or to get an adoption application, please email Melia at melia88@comcast.net or call 708-224-1900.
Pattie is currently in a boarding facility in West Chicago and she is in need of a foster or forever home.
