Bootsy: Purebred's Story...
My name is Bootsy (Boots for short) and I need someone to love me. You see, I spent the first four years of my life as a breeder dog in an overcrowded environment. When I came to rescue I was having a lot of problems with skin infections. And I had never been taught to like people. I've been in rescue for a couple of months now. And I'm doing a whole lot better! I love my foster mom, but I still need a patient family of my own. I am a little guy.... I weigh 20 pounds. I don't shed and I don't need a lot to eat. I love my crate and I sleep through the night in it. I'm housebroken and I get along with other dogs. Do you have a home for me? Requested donation is $95. Boots is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bootsy: Purebred, a Cincinnati Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
