Emma's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Emma's Story...
Emma is a beautiful Orange & White Tabby, with some Persian characteristics. She is 4 years old and is very loving. She loves to talk to you about her day
and give you kitty kisses. Emma absolutely hates being in a cage and so is very cranky with people wanting to adopt her. She flourishes in a foster home and becomes very affectionate although she doesn't like other cats or small children. We are looking for a patient cat person who understands that it might take a little while for Emma to get over her incarceration and become her original loving self. If you think you might like to open your heart and home to Emma, please call the Cats In Need hotline at 714-744-4911 or email mjharker@vivenet.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Yorba Linda Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Yorba Linda, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Yorba Linda.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yorba Linda already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yorba Linda breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yorba Linda paves the way for another one to be saved.
