Warner's Story...
Hi! My brothers and I came here looking for nice families to take us in and give us all the love we deserve. So let me tell you a little bit about me; I’m about 9 weeks old and will probably grow to be a medium-large size dog. I am a mix of Australian Shepherd and..... well we don’t know! My mom was a beautiful purebred with blue eyes, and dad…he didn’t stick around long enough for me to get to know him. We think maybe Labrador and German Shepherd.I have a little docked tail like my mom, but I am not sure if I was born that way or not. Most importantly I am a sweet, happy puppy just waiting for a family to raise me into the wonderful pet I am destined to be! My adoption fee is $260 and includes; microchip, reduced neuter and $25 rebate, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Warner, a Portland Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
